When should I arrive?
Please arrive at Geiranger Brygge at least 15 minutes before your booked departure time. The time shown on your ticket is the boat departure time.
How long does the tour last?
The RIB safari lasts approximately 50 minutes on the fjord. Please allow additional time for check-in, equipment and changing afterwards.
Where is the meeting point?
Geiranger Brygge, Maråkvegen 35, 6216 Geiranger. Our base is located close to the cruise pier in the centre of Geiranger.
What is included in the price?
Your ticket includes the guided RIB safari, life jacket, flotation suit and protective goggles. There are no additional charges for this equipment.
Can children join the tour?
Yes. The minimum age is 3 years. Child tickets apply to ages 3–15. Children aged 14 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
Are there any safety restrictions?
The maximum permitted passenger weight is 140 kg. The tour is not recommended for pregnant guests or people with back problems. Guests with reduced mobility should contact us before booking for an individual assessment.
Will we see the Seven Sisters waterfalls?
Our safari normally includes the famous Seven Sisters and other scenic highlights of Geirangerfjord. The exact route and stopping points depend on weather and sea conditions.
Can we book a private RIB boat?
Yes. Private RIB safaris are available for up to 12 guests per boat. The standard 50-minute private tour costs NOK 8,950 per boat. Please contact us for availability.
Is the tour suitable for cruise passengers?
Yes. Geiranger Brygge is a short walk from the cruise area. Please arrive 15 minutes before your booked departure and allow enough time to return to your cruise ship afterwards.
What is the cancellation policy?
Individual bookings can normally be cancelled or rescheduled without charge up to 24 hours before departure. Late cancellations and no-shows are normally non-refundable. If we cancel the tour due to weather or other operational reasons, a full refund or alternative arrangement will be offered. Please refer to the booking terms for the conditions applicable to your reservation.
What if my cruise ship cannot call at Geiranger?
Please contact us as soon as possible if your ship's itinerary changes. Refund eligibility depends on the terms applicable to your booking.
What should I wear?
Wear comfortable clothing suitable for the weather. We provide flotation suits and other required safety equipment. Bringing a camera or phone is recommended.
